CalEPA Library

The CalEPA Library serves staff and the public by providing print and electronic resources including books, journals and other periodicals, research reports, and reference materials. Topics covered include air pollution, atmospheric science, climate change, economics, epidemiology, green chemistry, hazardous substances, pesticide use, public health, recycling, renewable energy, toxicology, waste management, water use, groundwater and other environmental science topics within CalEPA’s scope. Library staff provide reference services, document retrieval, literature searches and interlibrary loans.

Online Catalogs and Collections

  • CalEPA Library Catalog. Search through the entire library collection online by visiting the search page maintained by the California Air Resources Board.
  • Online Journals. Browse a list of the library’s online journal subscriptions and a list of open-access online journals.

Extended Resources

Search materials and services provided by organizations such as the California State Library and California universities.  Many of these resources are available to staff through interlibrary loans.
